(*) CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
Cultural activities are an integral part of the Camp Sol Spain experience, providing the student further exposure to the language and cultural facets of the country.
Cultural activities are an important part of the experience. You will learn so much by going to classes but you’ll learn just as much, if not more, outside of the classroom. These activities are designed to enhance your experience and show you more of what the site has to offer! Your director will announce the weekly cultural activities every week during your meetings. For summer programs there are 3 cultural activities a week.
The program may change slightly depending on the circumstances of the internal organization of the course, the meteorological conditions and any other circumstances that may complicate the completion of the stated program. The camp administration will communicate any and all changes to participants, as quickly as possible . All activities are supervised by our team of certified professionals and counselors.

One of the most beautiful cities in Spain
Spain is a country of fascinating diversity, visible in its people, its countryside, and its profound history. The variety of cultures that have influenced Spain are vast, including the Romans, Moors, Phoenicians, and Gypsies. With such a deep history behind the Iberian Peninsula, each region of Spain could easily be considered an independent country.
The green landscapes of the north present a marked contrast to the mountainous and arid landscapes of the south.
Friendly and inviting city that’s really safe to walk around during the day and evening!
Medium sized city that’s easy to navigate and has an extensive summer public transport timetable.
Only 20 kms from France and well connected to Pamplona, Vitoria and Bilbao.
The city boasts both beaches and mountains just 5 minutes from the city center. You can easily go surfing, swimming or hiking!
The foods of Spain are equally varied, and provide yet another exciting aspect to your experience. Tapas are a typical example of the gastronomic culture. Spaniards treasure outings with friends that include ordering multiple plates of food that can be shared amongst the group. Olives, cheeses, meats, and seafood are popular items used in tapas.
Any educational trip to Spain signifies an array of experiences as one travels from one city to the next. While living and studying in Spain, you will learn about the diversity of cultures the country offers. Equally interesting, you will be able to make connections between Spain and the lasting imprint it has made on the United States. Come experience the fascination and intrigue that Spain has to offer.
A pedestrian area full of fashionable clothes shops, souvenir shops, traditional bakeries and some of the best hot chocolate and churros in the city.
Old Town
During summer, the city hosts Zinemaldia (San Sebastian International Film Festival), Jazzaldia (International Jazz Festival) and Semana Grande (San Sebastian Summer Festival)
